Orka was founded with a simple idea: to create contemporary furniture with the timeless presence of concrete, refined through craftsmanship. Although the studio itself is young, we have spent more than a decade working with microcement and specialist finishes, developing the skills and techniques that shape every piece we make today.
Our workshop in Wrexham, North Wales, is where each design comes to life. We work in both small batches and by commission, hand-finishing every surface in a multi-layered microcement system that balances strength, tactility, and durability. The result is furniture that carries the look and feel of solid concrete, but with the performance and longevity of modern material innovation.
