Competition Terms and Conditions

Win a Serra Dining Table

Please read these terms carefully before entering. By entering, you agree to be bound by them.

1. The Promoter

1.1 The promoter is ORKA DESIGN LTD, trading as Orka Design, registered in England and Wales under company number 17459189.

1.2 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc. By entering, you release Instagram, Facebook and Meta from any liability connected with the competition. You acknowledge that you are providing your information to Orka Design and not to Instagram, Facebook or Meta.

2. Eligibility

2.1 The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over.

2.2 Employees of Orka Design, their immediate family members, and anyone professionally connected with the competition are not eligible.

2.3 We may ask for proof of age and UK residency before awarding the prize. If you cannot provide it, we may disqualify you and select another winner.

3. How to Enter

3.1 No purchase is necessary. To enter n Instagram: like the post, follow @orkadesignuk, and comment tagging two different friends. On Facebook: like the post, like the Orka Design Page, and comment on the post.

3.2 Only one entry per person is permitted across all platforms. Entering on both Instagram and Facebook will count as a single entry.

3.3 Your Instagram or Facebook account must be public (or otherwise visible to us) at the time of entry and until the winner is announced, so that we can verify your entry.

3.4 Entries made through third parties, automated systems, or bulk entry services, and entries from fake or duplicate accounts, will be invalid.

3.5 We are not responsible for entries that are late, lost, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including technical failures. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.

4. Closing Date

4.1 The competition opens on 2nd October 2026 and closes at 11:59pm (UK time) on 30th October 2026. Entries made after this time will not be counted.

5. The Prize

5.1 The prize is one Orka Design Serra dining table 2000x1000x740mm, with a retail value of £1,750.

5.2 Delivery is included to UK mainland addresses only.

5.3 The Prize is non-transferable and no cash or other alternative is available. The Prize cannot be exchanged or resold by the winner as part of this competition.

5.4 Where the Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond our control, we reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

5.5 The retail value stated is based on our standard price at the time of the competition and may change.

6. Choosing and Notifying the Winner

6.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries within 7 days of the closing date.

6.2 The winner will be contacted by direct message on Instagram or by Messenger on Facebook from the official @orkadesignuk account or Orka Design page. We will only ever contact winners from these accounts. Please be wary of any messages from other accounts claiming to represent us, and never send payment or financial details in response to a message about this competition.

6.3 The winner must respond within 7 days of our message. If we do not receive a response in that time, or the winner is unable to accept the Prize or is found to be ineligible, we may withdraw the Prize and select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries.

6.4 The winner will be asked to provide a delivery address and contact telephone number so that we can arrange delivery or collection of the Prize.

6.5 To find out who won, please message us or check our Instagram or Facebook account after 30th October 2026. We will announce the winner's username in our Stories/feed after they have confirmed acceptance. Our decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. Publicity

7.1 The winner agrees to us announcing their Instagram username as the winner. With the winner's separate consent, we may also feature their photo or a post about the Prize on our channels. The winner is under no obligation to provide this and the Prize will not be affected if they decline.

8. Data Protection

8.1 We will use the personal data you provide only to run the competition, verify entries, contact and deliver the Prize to the winner, and meet our legal obligations, in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

8.2 We will not pass your data to third parties except where necessary to deliver the Prize (for example, a courier) or where required by law.

8.3 We will delete the personal data of non-winning entrants within 30 days of the competition ending, and keep the winner's data only for as long as needed for Prize fulfilment and our legal and accounting records.

9. Liability

9.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

9.2 Subject to 9.1, we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising from your participation in the competition or your acceptance or use of the Prize, including any technical failure, interruption or problem with Instagram or Facebook.

9.3 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer in relation to the Prize.

10. General

10.1 We reserve the right to amend these terms, or to suspend, cancel or modify the competition, if circumstances arise outside our control that make this necessary.

10.2 We may disqualify any entrant who breaches these terms, provides false information, or behaves in a way we reasonably consider to be abusive or fraudulent.

10.3 If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remainder will continue to apply.

10.4 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
